Welcome to my Counselling, Therapy & Social Work Solutions.

I offer a safe, affordable, warm, healing, compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental therapy and counselling space.

Through my Counsellor role & previous qualified social worker jobs as a Child & Family worker for NCH Action for Children, Social Worker, Senior Child & Family Social Worker & Inspector for Children’s & Vulnerable Adults Care & Social Services I have over 17 years experience of applying counselling skills & working therapeutically.

My Experience

My experience includes working issues arising from relationship, anxiety, depression, mental illness, stress, addictions, fears, anger management or from historic life events such as sexual abuse & other traumas, bereavement, separation, fostering & adoption.

Specialism - Adoption, Fostering & Parenting

My Specialisms include adoption, fostering and parenting. My experience of working for NCH Action for Children as a child & family worker included facilitating parent/child activities to help improve relationships between family members, carrying out direct work with children individually or in groups .

I am highly qualified in

Adult and Young People therapy, Family and Couples Therapy and Group Therapy

I’ve been trained to assess and work with adults and children

with over 20 years of clinical experience working

with Individuals, Couples and Family Therapy, overseas and the UK working face-to-face.

I have a different cultural background, since I am Latin-American and I was trained in different countries around the world,

including recently passing my Masters in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health here in the UK.

I’ve been working for many years with several mental health problems, assessing and overcoming anxiety, depression, drinking problems, domestic violence and abuse trauma, personality assessments for Children and Adults (Rorschach Test; Luscher Test; WAIS or WISC)

Due to my training also work with relationships difficulties as in marriage counselling therapy, communication difficulties, vital crisis, remarriage, parenting and separation.

I also work with group therapies using Psychodrama, which is a technique to express emotions, beliefs and body-experience in a creative way. Sometimes, I use this techniques with individual or couple therapy, as a resource to communicate and learn.

My approach is systemic, which means we are a team working towards our goal, creating ways to understand and training to do things differently.

I welcome you into therapy as equals and do not believe in holding the power imbalance of the therapeutic relationship but will often view you as experts of your own lives and experiences.

This enhanced clarity and understanding can help you develop new meanings and provide you with solutions to help better management of challenges, negotiation and improved relationship well-being.
