'Are you a concerned Parent? Worried about the mental health and wellbeing of your child? If so, then I can help.
I use a combination of counselling skills, emotional support work skills and life coaching to help get your child/teenager back on track.
My method is unique and you will not find it anywhere else. I have a degree in Psychology and Counselling and am a qualified Life Coach trained in Positive Psychology by an American Academy. I also have a wealth of experience from working for a Domestic Abuse organisation.
My speciality is VAWDASV (Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence) and trauma but I can also assist with:-

My humanistic principles as a therapist means I always treat every single person with Empathy, Unconditional Positive Regard and Congruence. I truly believe we are all individual and that one therapeutic model does not fit all. Therefore, my therapeutic approach is individualistic and I tailor our therapeutic journey that meets your presenting needs. As a result, I draw on several therapeutic modalities including but not limited to; Emotion Focused Therapy, Person Centred, CBT, Transaction Analysis, Gestalt and a newly developed model by ITW called Brief Depth Process Therapy.

My experience includes working issues arising from relationship, anxiety, depression, mental illness, stress, addictions, fears, anger management or from historic life events such as sexual abuse & other traumas, bereavement, separation, fostering & adoption.

My Specialisms include adoption, fostering and parenting. My experience of working for NCH Action for Children as a child & family worker included facilitating parent/child activities to help improve relationships between family members, carrying out direct work with children individually or in groups .

I’m a Psychologist, with over 20 years of experience working as a Clinical Psychologist
with Individuals, Couples and Family Therapy, overseas and the UK working face-to-face.
I have a different cultural background, since I am Latin-American and I was trained in different countries around the world,
including recently passing my Masters in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health here in the UK.
I’ve been working for many years with several mental health problems, assessing and overcoming anxiety, depression, drinking problems, domestic violence and abuse trauma. I’m available to perform personality assessments for Children (and Adults) (Rorschach Test; Luscher Test; WAIS or WISC)
